With over 25 years experience in the Construction Industry, Ian, together with his General Manager, Peter, has built a specialised concrete pumping operation spanning some 1,500 km's of the Queensland Coast. Ian’s confidence in his team has been the catalyst for his increased investment over recent years and the capability of his team has driven Meales’ significant growth during this period.

Peter literally grew up in the concrete pumping industry, spending most of his teenage and adult years’ operating pumps.   Since becoming General Manager of the Meales Group in 1994, he has played an integral part in the strong growth experienced by Meales.   His extensive knowledge, skills and experience in all facets of concrete pumping provide a solid foundation for Meales’ operational activities and his focus on consistently high standards and quality service have been significant in developing the Meales’ brand .  Peter is responsible, with the support of his Regional Management team, for the overall management of the operational activities of the Meales Group.

With 40 years of industry experience Paul is extremely well equipped as our high rise manager. Paul’s in-depth knowledge of engineering ,design and construction allows him to work closely with large companies ensuring cost effective budgets are meet along with innovative and systematic outcomes

Kristin has a background in legal services, business administration and project/contract management.  Having worked in an over-arching position across the Group for more than 9 years, she has a depth of knowledge and understanding of the inter-relationship of the various businesses within the Group.  Working directly with Ian and Peter, her focus is the coordination and management of internal and external business development initiatives and processes across the Meales Group.  She also manages Meales’ ongoing child sponsorship programs in fulfilment of Ian's vision for the Group to be a 'good corporate citizen'.

Michael is the Safety Manager and Rehabilitation Co-ordinator for the Group. He also manages the IT department. Michael has a background as a diesel and hydraulic mechanic, working in concrete batching plants/quarries and mobile crane maintenance, then moving into motor vehicle spare parts and sales and fleet management for Toyota Industrial and Cartech NSW Police.

Mark joined Meales in July 07 in the role of Group Company Accountant to head up the finance and administration of the entire operation.  Mark brings with him 25 years’ experience in the mining, building/construction and manufacturing industry.

Having gained extensive experience maintaining a large transport fleet, Robbie joined Meales in 2003 and quickly established himself as a most valuable team member.  He has been instrumental in strengthening Meales’ reputation for reliability. In addition to his workshop based responsibilities, Robbie also manages Meales’ mobile service/repair van, allowing us to respond promptly to the mechanical demands of our fleet in any location. He has incorporated within the Company a strict maintenance regime and, as a result, provides our operators and customers, with exceptionally well maintained equipment.

Neville brings 30 years of experience with all aspects of Concrete Pumping as an Operator to Supervisor for many years in Brisbane Mobile pumping operations and to High rise and Major Projects supervision Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

With 15 years of industry experience Mick is extremely well equipped as our high rise supervisor.

Gerard brings many years of experience with all aspects of Concrete Pumping with SCP. He has the ability to operate all the equipment SCP owns and has the abilty to supervise, train and manage the overall performance of workers and project requirements.

Valerie has been in the concrete industry since 1983 from Concrete Floor laying, supply and dispatch to Concrete Pumping.

Valerie is a Major part of the operations of the Brisbane Mobile and High Rise Job bookings, Dispatch and plays a key role in organization of the employees.

Jimmy has a lifetime of construction and concrete pumping experience which he is happy to use in turning customers’ needs into action.  Jimmy is responsible for marketing our services to the construction industry and is recognised as Meales’ face on the ground in the Brisbane area.

Stirling has a background including in excess of 10 years in the concrete pumping industry having operated all types of concrete pumps.
During his years as an operator Stirling worked on many large scale civil projects and gained invaluable experience in all aspects of concrete pumping and more importantly knowledge and understanding of our machines and the full extent of their capabilities.  Stirling maintains a strong passion for the industry and pride for our machines.  As Operations and Area Manager of our busy Brisbane yard, Stirling is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of our machines, operators, clients and jobs and is always available to discuss client queries or any concerns . 

With youth and enthusiasm on his side Chris is responsible for supervision and mangement of the Branch. He ensures workers needs are met and jobs are serviced on time without fail. Chris’s great wealth of knowledge and previous operating experience allows him to carefully assess each project and recommend suitable outcomes for the customer and ourselves

As one of the true pioneers of the concrete pumping industry, Trevor’s first exposure to concrete pumps was in 1964. Since this time Trevor has been at the fore front of our industry  and with 44 years of concrete pumping experience, there’s little Trevor hasn't’t accomplished. Trevor is now responsible for all allocating of equipment and personal from our very busy Brisbane central yard.

Jimmy has a lifetime of construction and concrete pumping experience which he is happy to use in turning customers needs into action. Jimmy is responsible for marketing Meales to the industry and is recognized as Meales’ face on the ground in the Brisbane area..

Janelle is responsible for administrational activities out of the Brisbane / Windsor operation. With an extremely happy and helpful attitude Janelle has great rapport with our larger customers offering great support and prompt service to their administrational demands.

Brett started in the industry in 1992. Having years of experience operating a variety of machines and being involved in numerous projects, Brett understands our customers’ every need when it comes to booking their equipment.

Toni is the latest newcomer to the Meales administration team.  Having over five years experience in accounts and administration across a variety of fields, Toni will definitely be a significant asset to the Meales Group.

Our Group Administration Staff are a invalubale asset to the company.

Dave is a long-time resident of the Wide Bay area and previous owner of a local concrete pumping business.  As Area Manager of the Wide Bay and Bundaberg operations since its beginning in 2005, Dave has great knowledge of the surrounds and the many builders that frequent this area.

Gavin has recently been appointed the position of Area Manager for our Gladstone operation.  Having previously been involved with Specialised Concrete Pumping for many years his loyalty and expertise in the industry gives him the opportunity to be responsible for the overall management of this busy and demanding area.  With a great wealth of Concrete Pumping knowledge and an understanding of the many large-scale Projects across QLD, Gavin is of immense value to customers with special project requirements.  

Drawing from his 22 years of experience in all aspects of concrete pumping, Tony has ably established and managed our operation in the Mackay/Bowen Basin region.  He has successfully built a reputation of providing quality concrete pumping services with a ‘can do’ attitude.  More recently, Tony has been involved in establishing a permanent operation in Moranbah, creating a service to the Bowen Basin Mining Area.

Michelle has recently joined the Meales  team with the role of assisting Tony with the many admin demands of inductions and paperwork requirements these type of civil projects now expect. Michelle is based in our Head office on the Sunshine Coast and can be reached on 07 5453 7233

Melville took up the position of Area Manager and Operator of the Bowen operation in September 2010.  Having previously owned a concrete pumping business in New Zealand, Mel has adapted to his new role with ease, gaining the respect of our local customers and building his knowledge of the local area.

As a long-time local of Port Moresby and owner of an existing PNG business, Haginia Hire, Graeme has recently taken on management of our new PNG operation.  He has been servicing local contractors’ pumping requirements with his fleet of line pumps for the last 10 years and our presence now adds a mobile boom pump to the arena.  With the support of additional equipment and knowledge from our Australian operation, Graeme can now offer the complete package to local contractors in this challenging region.
